Hello, I'm Justin Atkinson, and ever since I was a kid I have been passionate about filmmaking. My mom encouraged me to follow my passion, and that’s exactly what I have worked hard to do. I’m passionate about storytelling because it can generate empathy in the audience by connecting us with characters we might not meet otherwise. I really put my heart into my work. I am an Emmy Award winning and three-time Telly Award winning video producer with over fifteen years of experience in the industry. I am also a licensed drone pilot. My feature-debut, Bobby's Intermission, premiered at the Woodbury 10 Theatre, and was featured in the Pioneer Press, Star Tribune, MPR, the Lori & Julia show, Minnesota Live, Fox 9 Good Day, and the Fox Morning Show. I am currently working on my next film, Let's All Go to the Lobby: The Story of Filmack Studios. I am also a proud member of the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce. I live in Woodbury with my wife, Meghan, our son, Ethan, and our cats, Ozzy and Patsy.
